Hovingham Electrical is owned and managed by Mark Blades who over the last 20 plus years has gained valuable experience in many aspects of the electrical and construction industries.
Electrical installation
if you have a new build that need wiring, an old house that needs rewiring, a shower wiring in or an extra double socket we can fit around your needs and complete a full installation what ever size.
If you require more heavy work we can wire three phase supplies, sub main distribution and lighting design layouts out of office hours to minimise disruption at your business.
Inspection and testing
We can test, inspect and issue a report on any size of installation if you are purchasing a house, a landlord or at your place of work we can certificate your installation so you are safe in the knowledge that you are safe.
all test and inspections are accompanied with a full report detailing any recommendations and a fixed price quotation for any remedial works required in order to issue you with a satisfactory certificate.
Lighting upgrades
Lighting is a very important part of day to day life but it is taken for granted by many of us, Hovingham Electrical have many years experience at specifying the correct lighting for the correct building or occasion so you can have confidence we will not keep you in the dark.

As with emergency lighting business owners have legal responsibilities that they need to make sure are covered, has your fie alarm system been tested recently? if not give us a call and we can advise you through the process, did you know that smoke detectors have an operational life of ten years? our materials used are fully compliant with EN54.
PAT testing
If you supply portable appliances for use by others you need to prove that they are fit for purpose, the easiest way to do this is with a PAT test register to prove they are regularly tested. We can cover all items 230volt or 110 volt. We can test item on an hourly charge or a cost per item basis.
Fuse Board Upgrades
The one most important thing within an electrical is that the circuits and you are correctly protected by suitable distribution board with the correct circuit breakers and residual current devices fitted, we can replace your old board for a new split load type with dual RCD protection please call for advice and fixed price quotation.
